Train rides are proudly operated by Scenic Railways Ltd., offering visitors a charming journey through the woodland on a 10¼” (260mm) gauge railway that stretches for 560 yards (512m). First opened in 1986, this railway has been delighting passengers of all ages for decades. The fleet consists of eight locomotives in total — two petrol-powered and six diesel-powered — which are regularly rotated to keep every ride fresh and enjoyable. Whether you’re a railway enthusiast or simply looking for a fun family activity, the woodland railway provides a memorable experience.

Saturday & Sunday: 10.30am to 4.00pm
School Holidays: Monday – Friday 11.00am to 3.00pm

The miniature railway is almost 600 yards in length and operates on a 10¼-inch gauge track.
Sections of the line, along with some equipment, originated from other miniature railways at Minehead, Watford, and Audley End.
Their engines are meteor engines and there were only 10 ever built. They have over half of the engines left in the world!
