Refunds, Returns & Exchange Policy

Any goods you buy must be complete and of satisfactory quality.

Vanstone Park Garden Centre takes reasonable steps to check all goods put out for sale. Customers prefer to buy unopened packages and for these we must rely on the reputation of our suppliers.
Vanstone Park Garden Centre will try to resolve any problems as quickly as possible. If the goods are not of ‘satisfactory’ quality you may ask for your money back. We may request to return the product to the manufacturer first if this is not obvious, before agreeing a refund.

Customers Cannot Expect A Refund Simply Because They Change Their Mind And We Have No Obligation To Do So.

In practice, in order to help and depending on the following conditions, we may agree to accept goods excluding all chemicals or treatments, back for a full credit against other goods, either now or later, providing;

• Goods are returned undamaged and unused
• Goods are returned with complete packaging
• Goods are returned with all original parts included
• Goods are returned with all instructions included
• The customer has a valid receipt or proof of purchase from us
• The customer does so within 14 days

For returns over 14 days and up to three months from the date of the till receipt or in the case of a missing till receipt, or incomplete packaging and providing we are willing to have it returned and we have not restocked, there may be a restocking deduction of 15%.

Where goods are a gift customers may ask for a gift receipt to accompany goods. This shows the till number, till receipt number, our product reference number and date of sale, which we can then reference back to the computer without showing the price to the recipient.

5 Year Hardy Plant Guarantee

All of our hardy plants i.e. non tender shrubs and perennials are covered by a 5 year guarantee. We may ask to see proof of purchase in order to issue a refund. Plants need to have been cared for sufficiently, if we suspect plants have been neglected and allowed to die, we may not honor a full refund.

We ask customers to consider that when leaving Vanstone Park Garden Centre plants may travel in a hot car, get left in the boot, put in the garage, unloaded and left, kept in their container etc and then have to adjust to different living conditions. Plants need a deceptively large amount of water especially in the peak of summer. If left in the pot, submerge the pot in a bucket of water a few times a week or if planted, give a generous water several times a week.
